Due to the last-decade renewed interest in old-school apparel, it might take you now more than a trip to your local Value Village to find the perfect vintage piece of clothing.

Indeed, most of these stores don’t offer anything interesting anymore, and the usual vintage clothing shops are asking big bucks for their items, because they can.

Now, the perfect alternative will be happening this month in town, since a new vintage market will open its doors for a whole weekend.

Entitled Vintage Mart and presented by Smart Design Mart and HQ, the 2 days event will showcase the perfect vintage clothing items for boys and girls.

Everything from shoes, dresses, jeans, jewellery and the mandatory plaid shirt will be available at this public sale.

Started less than 6 months ago, the local initiative has gained a lot of popularity since and the attention of local deal-hunters, tired of the lacklustre selection found at local charity shops.
