Critiques CD: Thavius Beck | Dialogue

Having worked on production, programming and mixing for Saul Williams, Nine Inch Nails, Nas, and Mars Volta among others, the L.A. based producer Thavius Beck also frequently releases his own projects and Dialogue is his latest. In addition to being an established producer, MC, saxophone, and guitar player, certifi ed trainer of Ableton Live is also one of his titles. His MC delivery is sometimes reminiscent of Del the Funky Homosapien and other Freestyle Fellowship types, while the production finds itself somewhere between prog-rock, industrial, funk, and hip-hop and makes it clear why so many others tap him for his talent on the boards.
