edIT, Boreta, and Ooah – the three fellas that make up the L.A.-based trio The Glitch Mob – will convert a lot of non-believers with this first full-length release. The heavy bass and reverb rhythms associated with their live sets and parties – including the subgenres known as glitch hop or street bass – have led some to ask if this legendary partyrocking aesthetic can translate into a studio album format. Yes, these tracks are begging to beat up subwoofers but the quality of the production and songwriting of each tune is inviting itself into a whole other domain.
