Critiques CD: Kenlo Craqnuques | Cailloux Germés

Aside from having one of the dopest rap names in the game, homegrown producer KenLo also packs some of the most soulful and futuristic beats heard in a minute. Craqnuques – a phonetic translation for neck snap – is the appropriate dub for a guy who has been named more than once the Dilla of Quebec. Even though the comparison is fair, there’s actually a lot more to it when you listen to this EP (downloadable for free at error-broadcast.com). The hypnotic melodies and meticulous sampling on every song is an amazing first discovery, definitely recommended on good headphones.
