If you’re caught up in a small cubicle working your ass off to make ends, God knows that you must fantasize about what the job market has to offer as office space alternatives. Usually, creative agencies are the best examples of workplace where workers are not confined to casket-sized offices. Now there’s your chance to see what one as to offer in terms of innovative space as the TRUSST group opens their in-house gallery to the public on June 9th.
This Montreal-based agency was founded by reputed creative experts Melissa Matos who has worked on over 30 exhibits as a production and wardrobe stylist and Andrew Ly, a creative director who brought his inspired input for brand and magazines like L’Oreal and Elle.
For the opening of the TRUSST concept space, art director Jonathan Cassidy is joining their creative ship, aiming to bring his unique vision to the gallery. Thus, the team will commemorate their grand-opening by introducing the visitors to an exhibit reuniting burgeoning designers’ artefacts.
Futuristic jewellery by Arielle De Pinto will be displayed as well as sold alongside Jordan Askill’s sculptures and jewels. Moreover, fashion-designer Tillmann Lauterbach will display his new Men autumn/winter 2010 collection, which celebrates skin tone colours mixed with lightweight garments.
Overall, the TRUSST’s executives want to merge art and fashion and explore its commercial appeals under their boutique space, exposing Montrealers to new international design virtuosos. As a commercial and gallery space, their offices brilliantly showcase how a workplace environment can be anything but dreadful.
