A local singer/songwriter of Haitian descent who in past years has recorded with Drake, placed her music on several MTV shows and has had countless fan videos on the web before even getting a record deal, Leïla is getting ready for takeoff in 2011 with her French debut Fugitive, fired off by the first single “Passeport,” already at over 300,000 views on YouTube.
San Franciscans are still talking about him –Le Révélateur partook in his label Root Strata’s On Land Festival with a who’s who of the keyboard underground this past September.
