Du 30 août au 1er septembre, Toronto accueillera le premier événement de Mural à l’extérieur de l’île et c’est au stackt Market qu’il aura lieu.

Pendant ces 3 jours, différentes activités sont à l’horaire. Évidemment, plusieurs muralistes transformeront l’espace du stackt Market, soit sur un mur et des containers.

On retrouvera donc les artistes Maser (Irlande), Laurence Vallières (Montréal), Peru (Toronto), Le Bonar (Montréal), Ness Lee (Toronto) et Bacon (Toronto).

That’s a wrap for LA. Pyjamas top on and ready for bed – I feel completely exhausted, but its a rewarding feeling. It reassures me I gave it everything. Mentally drained because I used this as an opportunity to brain dumb all the things I currently love, sympathise with, admire and frustrate me. Physically exhausted because of the scale, heat and long days of consecutive painting. I’m proud of the final piece and to watch people engage with the art, both in production and on opening night. That engagement is a key element in this arts purpose and success. But most proud of the opportunity, that I’m originally a graffiti writer from Dublin with no formal art training, representing Ireland with a monster piece in LA! (Box ticked ✔️) Big love to the Contemporary Irish Arts Center @ciac.la , thank you for your patience and hard work to get this shared vision complete. The Mirror Door installation is open to the public for the next month ❤️ 🇮🇪❤️🇮🇪❤️

Mural, c’est aussi une programmation musicale de feu.

Le 31 août prochain, entre 16h et 23h, les invités auront la chance de danser sur les rythmes du collectif Moonshine, reconnu pour son afro électro festif et décalé.

Les soirées se termineront à l’App.200 de Toronto (oui, oui, il y en a un aussi à Toronto!)
